An application for mobile phone-based money transfers.
The Person to Person paYment (PPY) prototype was developed in just one week as a showcase demonstrating how a traditional money transfer system could be extended with a mobile phone channel, using SMS to send money orders.

My task was to build the web channel for the PPY prototype. XHTML and CSS, together with Java Server Pages (JSP) and the JSP Standard Tag Library (JSTL), were chosen for developing the page templates. The page flow was kept as simple as possible. Beyond demonstrating the functionality to end users, the prototype’s goal was to build experience with graphical user interfaces, since our team had historically focused on server-side software with little or no UI work.
